Remopleurides correctus was named by Reed (1903) [= 1878 Cheirurus sp. ind. Nicholson & Etheridge, p. 107, pi. 7, fig. 18.
= 1879 Remopleurides barrandii Etheridge & Nicholson; Nicholson & Etheridge pars, p. 151, pi. 10, fig. 16.]. Its type specimen is BM In. 21063, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Robergiella correcta by Tripp (1980).
