It was recombined as Opsimasaphus latus by Kielan (1960); it was recombined as Birmanites latus by Dean and Zhou (1988).

Pygidium sub-semicircular. Rhachis equa l to almos t six-eighths of pygidial length . 10-12 rhachial rings, 7-8 pleurae . Almost the whole bod y ornamented with anas tomosing lines. |
