Taxonomy
Baschkirina ruchae was named by Chitnarin (2017). Its type specimen is SUT-09-2375, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 08LO02-2, Tham Nam Maholan, Loei, which is in an Asselian carbonate wackestone in the Nam Maholan Formation of Thailand.
