Taxonomy
Paleotelmatoscopus madrizi was named by Curler and Skibińska (2021). Its type specimen is CCHH 1800-3, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Hoffeins/Deutsches Entomologische Institut collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
