Campestrallomys dawsonae

Taxonomy
Prosciurus dawsonae was named by Macdonald (1963). Its type specimen is SDSM 56112, a mandible (left ramus, with unworn p4-m3.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharps (SDSM V-541), which is in a Geringian terrestrial horizon in the Sharps Formation of South Dakota.

It was recombined as Haplomys dawsonae by Wang (1987); it was recombined as Campestrallomys dawsonae by Korth (1989), Korth (2014).
