Lauzonella planifrons
Taxonomy
Dikelocephalus planifrons was named by Billings (1860). Its type specimen is Nat. Mus. Canada, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Lauzonella.
It was recombined as Anomocarella planifrons by Walcott (1914); it was recombined as Lauzonella planifrons by Rasetti (1944).
