Taxonomy
Dikelocephalus hisingeri was named by Bilings (1865). Its type specimen is Nat. Mus. Canada 868a, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Conocephalites hisingeri by Matthew (1893); it was recombined as Lisania hisingeri by Walcott (1914); it was recombined as Pseudolisania hisingeri by Rasetti (1944).
