Cosoryx (Subcosoryx) cerroensis

Taxonomy
Cosoryx (Subcosoryx) cerroensis was named by Frick (1937) [type of subgenus Subcosoryx]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Round Mountain Quarry, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the referred Chamita Formation of New Mexico.

It was recombined as Merycodus cerroensis by Henshaw (1939) and Webb (1969); it was recombined as Cosoryx cerroensis by Hibbard (1951).
