Taxonomy
Drynaria callispora was named by Su et al. (2011). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Kunming Institute of Botany, YP01, a leaf. Its type locality is Yangjie Coal Mine, Yongping, which is in a Pliocene fluvial claystone in the Sanying Formation of China.
