Taxonomy
Drynaria dimorpha was named by Wu and Sun (2012). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Institute of Palaeontology and Stratigraphy, Lanzhou University, FTP-3108, a leaf. Its type locality is Tuantian Diatomite Mine, Tengchong, which is in a Pliocene fluvial diatomite in the Mangbang Formation of China.
