Cannanoropollis orientalis

Taxonomy
Virkkipollenites orientalis was named by Tiwari (1968). It is not extant. Its type locality is Ib River Coalfield, which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in India.

It was recombined as Cannanoropollis orientalis by Srivastava (1970), Lakhanpal et al. (1976).
