Taxonomy
Allochthonius balticus was named by Schwarze et al. (2022). Its type specimen is GPIH 5038, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, GPIH collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
