Taxonomy
Araceaepites wodehousei was named by Biswas (1962). It is not extant. Its type locality is Tharia, which is in an Eocene carbonate limestone in the Sylhet Formation of India.
It was recombined as Monosulcites wodehousei by Sah and Dutta (1966); it was recombined as Couperipollis wodehousei by Venkatachala and Kar (1969), Lakhanpal et al. (1976).
