Taxonomy
Cupressinoxylon (Taxodioxylon) rajmahalense was named by Bharadwaj (1953). It is not extant. Its type locality is Amarjola, Rajmahal Hills, which is in a Jurassic fluvial horizon in the Rajmahal Formation of India.
