Taxonomy
Peruvispira oklahomaensis was named by Karapunar and Nützel (2022). Its type specimen is SNSB-BSPG 2020 LVIII 18, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Daube Ranch, Coral Reef Area, which is in a Morrowan marine shale in the Gene Autry Shale Formation of Oklahoma.
