Taxonomy
Thinnfeldia sahnii was named by Seward (1932). It is an impression. Its type locality is Chechariya, Shahdol, which is in a Triassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Parsora Formation of India.
It was recombined as Zuberia sahnii by Frenguelli (1944); it was recombined as Dicroidium sahnii by Rao and Lele (1963), Lakhanpal et al. (1976).
