Taxonomy
Analox bipunctata was named by Rasetti (1966). Its type specimen is U.S.N.M. 145093 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is cs-4,North Chatham, which is in a Lenian offshore shelf limestone/shale in the Stissing Formation of New York.
