Taxonomy

Agnostus pusillus was named by Tullberg (1880). Its type specimen is LO 407t, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Acadagnostus pusillus by Kobayashi (1939); it was recombined as Peronopsis pusilla by Westergård (1946); it was recombined as Svenax pusillus by Öpik (1979), Weidner and Nielsen (2014); it was recombined as Peronopsis (Svenax) pusillus by Naimark and Pegel (2017).
