Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
A. R. Tedrow and W. W. Korth 1997Differs from D. pelycomyoides in being 20% smaller and having buccal mesolophids on lower molars as well as relatively smaller entoconids and mesostylids and a less well developed buccal cingulum; the hypolophid is incomplete on p4 and the mesostylids on the lower cheek teeth are laterally compressed, unlike the condition in the type species.
