Pentagnostus shergoldi
Taxonomy
Pentagnostus shergoldi was named by Laurie (2004) [?1979 Pentagnostus anabarensis Lermontova; Öpik, p. 140, pl. 54, fig. 9
?1988 Pentagnostus praecurrens (Westergård); Laurie, fig 15B only]. Its type specimen is CPC 37696, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NTGS Diamond Drillhole Elkedra 3. 65.12 m, which is in a Templetonian marine limestone in the Arthur Creek Formation of Australia.
