Delphodon comptus
Taxonomy
Didelphodon comptus was named by Marsh (1889) [Marsh]. Its type locality is Mammal Quarry No. 1 (UCMP V-5003), which is in a Lancian terrestrial horizon in the Lance Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Delphodon.
It was recombined as Delphodon comptus by Simpson (1927), Hay (1930), Russell (1952).
