Taxonomy
Dadoxylon zalesskyi was named by Sahni (1932). It is not extant. Its type locality is Raniganj, which is in a Wordian/Lopingian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Raniganj Formation of India.
It was recombined as Kaokoxylon zalesskyi by Maheshwari (1965), Lakhanpal et al. (1976).
