Taxonomy
Eugeniacrinites remesi was named by Biese (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jucha squalea type locality, which is in a Hauterivian marine shale/carbonate in the Klimovka Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Lonchocrinus.
It was recombined as Lonchocrinus remesi by Arendt (1974), Pisera and Dzik (1979).
