Meridecaris ladinica
Taxonomy
Meridecaris ladinica was named by Stockar and Garassino (2013). Its type specimen is MCSN 8443, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Valle di Sceltrich, bed 9, which is in a Fassanian carbonate lime mudstone in the Meride Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Meridecaris.
