Parapalaemonetes thuringiacus
Taxonomy
Parapalaemonetes thuringiacus was named by Brandt and Schulz (2013). Its type specimen is NME 13/07, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Temporary outcrop on A4 between Bucha and Schorba, which is in a Fassanian deep subtidal ramp marl in the Meissner Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Parapalaemonetes.
