Taxonomy
Agnostus fallax laiwuensis was named by Lorenz (1906). It is not extant. It is the type subspecies of Ammagnostus.

It was recombined as Peronopsis laiwuensis by Lu (1965); it was recombined as Ammagnostus laiwuensis by Peng and Robison (2000).
