Eopolycheles cornuaureus
Taxonomy
Eopolycheles cornuaureus was named by Gašparič et al. (2020). Its type specimen is Slovenian Museum of Natural History BJ2467, a carapace, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kozja Dnina, Vrata Valley, which is in a Tuvalian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Martuljek Limestone Formation of Slovenia. It is the type species of Eopolycheles.
