Taxonomy
Prosopon grande was named by von Meyer (1857). It is not extant. It is the type species of Eodromites.

It was recombined as Eodromites grande by Schweitzer et al. (2010); it was recombined as Eodromites grandis by Patrulius (1966), Franţescu (2011), Schweitzer et al. (2012), Klompmaker et al. (2012), Schweitzer et al. (2017).
