Taxonomy
Macrourites minutus was named by Schlotheim (1822). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Pustulina minuta by Garassino and Schweigert (2006), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Charbonnier and Garassino (2012), Feldmann et al. (2015) and Odin et al. (2019).
