Hoploparia buntingi
Taxonomy
Nephrops buntingi was named by Feldmann and Holland (1971). Its type specimen is UND #13101, an exoskeleton (nearly complete specimen), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is West-northwest of Fallon, which is in a Danian coastal sandstone in the Cannonball Formation of North Dakota.
It was recombined as Hoploparia buntingi by Schweitzer et al. (2010).
