Protocallianassa pilsbryi
Taxonomy
Callianassa pilsbryi was named by Rathbun (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Frisco Railroad Bridge (No. 5710), 2 1/2 mi NW of Blue Springs, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian marine horizon in the Ripley Formation of Mississippi.
It was recombined as Protocallianassa pilsbryi by Schweitzer et al. (2010).
