Parthenope chiampensis
Taxonomy
Parthenope chiampensis was named by Beschin et al. (2013). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MCZ 3971-I.G.361675. Its type locality is Cava Boschetto di Nogarole Vicentino (unit D, Nummulites beneharnensis zone), which is in a Lutetian carbonate tuff in Italy.
