Eoasianites baghevangensis
Taxonomy
Eoasianites baghevangensis was named by Korn and Ghaderi (2021). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.8197, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Kuh-e Bagh-e-Vang (Jamal Fm, Wendt collection), which is in a Sakmarian marine shale in the Jamal Formation of Iran.
