Opsiosoryctocephalus ophis
Taxonomy
Opsiosoryctocephalus ophis was named by Sundberg (1994). Its type specimen is LACMIP 11712, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Snake Range, LACMIP 15563, which is in a Delamaran marine limestone in the Lincoln Peak Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Opsiosoryctocephalus.
