Dromiopsis pulchella was named by Secretan (1964). It is not extant.
It was recombined as Paranecrocarcinus pulchellus by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2012); it was corrected as Dromiopsis pulchellus by Schweitzer et al. (2016).
