Hadrocarcinus carinatus
Taxonomy
Necrocarcinus carinatus was named by Feldmann et al. (1993). Its type specimen is BAS IN.2238 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 10, Western San José Pass, which is in a Campanian marine siliciclastic in the Santa Marta Formation of Antarctica.
It was recombined as Orithopsis carinata by van Bakel et al. (2012); it was recombined as Hadrocarcinus carinatus by Schweitzer et al. (2016).
