Galatheites sforum
Taxonomy
Galatheites sforum was named by Klompmaker et al. (2022). Its type specimen is SNSB-BSPG 2014 I 49a, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Saal Quarry, which is in a Kimmeridgian platform/shelf-margin reef limestone in the Massenkalk Formation of Germany.
