Taxonomy
Lemacola salia was named by Robins et al. (2016). Its type specimen is LPBIIIart138, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Purcăreni, which is in a Tithonian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Romania.
