Taxonomy
Kidrjasocyathus was named by Rozanov (1960) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Boto-l Cm Boto-u Sepkoski's reference number: 1243]. It is the type genus of Kidrjasocyathoidea.

It was corrected as Kidrjassocyathus by Zhuravleva et al. (1997); it was misspelled as Kidjasocyathus by Sepkoski (2002), Kerner et al. (2011), Debrenne et al. (2015) and Novack-Gottshall (2025).

It was assigned to Ajacicyathida by Zhuravleva et al. (1997) and Sepkoski (2002); and to Kidrjasocyathidae by Kerner et al. (2011), Debrenne et al. (2015) and Novack-Gottshall (2025).
