Taxonomy
Iveria iverensis was named by Shergold (1980). Its type specimen is CPC 15317, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Lily Creek Section K204, which is in an Iverian open shallow subtidal grainstone in the Chatsworth Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Iveria.
