Taxonomy
Eriphyla (Miyakoella) badvei was named by Kendrick and Vartak (2007). Its type specimen is ARI G2783/1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Odiyam locality 2, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Karai Formation of India.
