Taxonomy
Adamanteryon fourneti was named by Audo et al. (2014). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Voulte-sur-Rhône, Ardèche (MNHN collection), which is in a Callovian offshore marl in France. It is the type species of Adamanteryon.
