Conantiopteris schuchmanii
Taxonomy
Conantiopteris schuchmanii was named by Lantz et al. (1999). Its type specimen is CAS G 5010, a wood, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shoup Ranch Gulch, which is in an Aptian coastal mudstone in the Budden Canyon Formation of California. It is the type species of Conantiopteris.
