Taxonomy
Saarina hagadorni was named by Selly et al. (2020). Its type specimen is USNM-E1636_009_B13 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is E1421 fault block float. Mount Dunfee locality, which is in an Ediacaran marine limestone in the Deep Spring Formation of Nevada.
