Comanchia amplooculata

Artiopoda - Olenida - Idahoiidae

Taxonomy
Ptychopleurites amplooculatus was named by Frederickson (1948). Its type specimen is OGM 105-16F-15, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is OGM Locality 13 Arbuckle Mountains, which is in a Furongian open shallow subtidal horizon in the Honey Creek Formation of Oklahoma.

It was recombined as Comanchia amplooculata by Hohensee and Stitt (1989).
