Taxonomy
Pterocoryphe platymarginata was named by Van Viersen and Vanherle (2018). Its type specimen is IRSNB a13194, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc095, southeast of Mariembourg, which is in a Frasnian reef, buildup or bioherm floatstone in the Champ Broquet Formation of Belgium.
