Taxonomy
Dadoxylon parbeliense was named by Rao (1935). It is not extant. Its type locality is Parbelia Colliery, Raniganj Coalfield, which is in a Lopingian fluvial-lacustrine coal in India.
It was recombined as Araucarioxylon parbeliense by Maheshwari (1972), Chandra and Tewari (1991).
