Taxonomy
Dechenella (Dechenella) osborni was named by Ormiston (1967). Its type specimen is GSC 18158, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Dechenella osborni by Lieberman (1994), Bignon and Crônier (2011).
