Taxonomy
Dalejeproetus owensi was named by Johnson and Fortey (2012). Its type specimen is NHM It 28949 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 24.5 m., Section 1, Jbel Oufatene, which is in a Pragian carbonate limestone in the Ihandar Formation of Morocco.
