Taxonomy
Dohmiella acanthonota was named by Van Viersen and Prescher (2010) [Paratypes: Two cranidia (IRSNB a12764, a12773), one juvenile cranidium (IRSNB a12765), two librigenae (IRSNB a12769, a12771), one incomplete specimen (IRSNB a12770), three pygidia (IRSNB a12767, a12768, a12772).]. Its type specimen is IRSNB a12766, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gerolstein02, which is in an Eifelian marine marl in the Ahrdorf Formation of Germany.
